Planned maintenance
A fixed schedule of inspections and tests so your site stays compliant and faults are found before they become failures.
Every site has items that must be tested at set intervals, and others that simply fail quietly until they don't. A planned program covers both. We agree a scope and a calendar with you, turn up when we said we would, and leave you with a report that says exactly what was tested, what passed, and what needs attention.

Reactive repairs and fault-finding
When a circuit trips, a board smells hot or half the building goes dark, you need someone who already knows where everything is.
Because we map and label the sites we maintain, our electricians arrive knowing which board feeds what. That turns a fault-finding job from hours into minutes, and means an isolation can be planned without shutting down the whole building. Maintenance clients get priority for breakdown calls.

Schools and campuses
Multiple buildings, many switchboards, and work that has to happen in holidays or after hours. We keep the distribution documented across the whole campus, run the testing calendar, and are used to working under child-safety requirements with fully vetted staff.
Medical and allied health
General practice, specialist rooms, dental, chiropractic and imaging suites, including X-ray room isolators, dedicated circuits and body-protected areas. We schedule around consulting hours so patients aren't disrupted.
Aged care
Continuity of supply matters most here. We focus on switchboard condition, RCD coverage, emergency lighting and nurse-call and lighting circuits, with work planned around residents' routines.
Factories and warehouses
Three-phase distribution, motor control, machinery connections and heavily loaded boards that benefit most from thermal imaging. We plan isolations around production so downtime is minimal.
Offices, retail and body corporate
Tenancy boards, common-area lighting and power, emergency lighting and EV charging in car parks. We provide the records your building manager and insurer ask for.
Compliance and records
Everything we test, we document. You get a file per site that grows with every visit.
Insurers, auditors and WorkSafe all ask the same question: can you show me the records? We keep them for you. Each site gets a distribution map and single line diagram, legends for every board, test records for every RCD and emergency light, thermal reports with images and priorities, and a Certificate of Electrical Safety for every job that needs one.

What does facilities electrical maintenance include?
A planned program of inspections and tests across your site's electrical installation: switchboard servicing and thermal imaging, RCD trip testing, emergency and exit lighting testing, checks of connections and protection, and a written report after each visit. Reactive repairs and fault-finding sit alongside it, so the same electricians who know your site are the ones who turn up when something fails.
How often should a commercial site have its electrical installation checked?
It depends on the environment and what the standards require for each item. As a guide: emergency and exit lighting is tested six-monthly under AS/NZS 2293, RCDs are tested at intervals set by AS/NZS 3760 for the type of site, and switchboard thermal imaging is usually done annually, or more often for heavily loaded boards. We build a schedule around those intervals so nothing is missed.
Do you work in schools and medical practices?
Yes, they're the core of our maintenance work. We have looked after a large independent school for well over 16 years and maintain medical practices, allied health clinics, X-ray rooms and aged care sites. Our staff are fully vetted and used to working around students, patients and clinical equipment, and we schedule work around your operating hours.
What records do I get?
After each visit you receive a report with the test results for every device, thermal images with any hot spots rated by priority, a list of defects found and what we recommend, and a Certificate of Electrical Safety for any prescribed work done. Records are kept per site so you have a history to show insurers, auditors and WorkSafe.
Can you map our site's electrical distribution?
Yes. For most new maintenance clients this is where we start. We trace the installation from the supply point through every main switchboard, sub-board and distribution board and produce a distribution map, single line diagram and updated legends. It makes every later job faster and safer, and it's essential before adding solar, batteries or EV chargers.
Do you offer fixed-price maintenance agreements?
Yes. We set up annual or six-monthly agreements with a fixed scope and schedule for each site, so the cost is known in advance and the testing dates are locked in. Repairs found during a visit are quoted separately before we go ahead.

Across Melbourne's south-east, including Keysborough, Dandenong, Springvale, Braeside, Moorabbin, Cheltenham, Clayton, Frankston, Cranbourne, Berwick and Pakenham, plus the Mornington Peninsula.
